This notice explains what personal information CortexLabs collects through this website, why it is used and the choices available to you.
1. Who is responsible for your information
CortexLabs AI Ltd is the controller for personal information described in this notice. The company is registered in England and Wales under company number 17385502. Its registered office is Fenchurch House, 12 King Street, Nottingham, England, NG1 2AS.

2. Information collected
The contact form collects your name, work email address, optional organisation and a short workflow description. The request's IP address is used for abuse prevention and included with the message delivered to the founder's private Slack workspace. Submissions are used only to assess fit and respond; they are not stored in a website database or added to a marketing list or CRM.
If you use an email link instead, the information you choose to send is handled through your email provider and the CortexLabs email service.
If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics collects information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, and cookie or similar identifiers. IP anonymisation is enabled. Analytics does not load unless you select Accept.
Do not send credentials, personal records, confidential contracts, regulated material or production data in an initial message.
3. How and why information is used
Enquiry information is used to respond, assess whether CortexLabs may be able to help and maintain necessary business records. This processing is based on CortexLabs' legitimate interests in operating and developing its business, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Information may also be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Optional analytics is used to understand aggregate website use and improve the site. It is processed only with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site stores your analytics choice in your browser so that it can respect that choice on later visits. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set additional cookies. If you decline, optional analytics remains off. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.
5. Sharing and international transfers
CortexLabs uses service providers for website hosting, email, Slack message delivery and, when consented to, analytics. They process information only to provide those services and under their own applicable terms and data-protection obligations. Personal information is not sold.
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, CortexLabs relies on an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards for those transfers.
6. Retention
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active business relationship, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations. The period depends on the nature of the enquiry and whether it leads to an engagement. Analytics information is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information; restrict or object to its processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email hello@cortexlabs.app. CortexLabs may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Please contact CortexLabs first if you would like the issue to be addressed directly.
8. Engagement data
Information used during a paid Assessment or Implementation is governed by separately agreed terms covering scope, purpose, providers, retention, deletion, access and security. This website notice does not replace those terms.
9. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, providers or data practices change. The date above shows when it was last revised.
